Washington Judo Club was formed in September 2002 by Sensei John Pickering, and a group of local parents. We strongly believe that, by following the principles of judo, we have developed a club with a strong sense of community, where all are welcome. We actively encourage parents to be involved, to help create a family atmosphere. Everyone involved with the Club is a volunteer and all money collected is used for the benefit of members.
Annual Club competition (members only) 3rd April 2008 - Our junior players show off their hard won trophies. Congratulations to Sophie Darlaston on winning the award for best throw of the night
Our primaries (under 10yrs) at our annual Club Competition (members only) April 2008 - Thanks to all the Mams, Dads, Grandparents etc for coming along to watch, your support was much appreciated. Congratulations to Jake Maguire on winning the 'Best Throw' trophy.

The club is an affiliated member of the British Judo Council (BJC No.53) and abides by its rules and regulations.
VISITING SENSEIS / DAN GRADES The following Senseis / Dan Grades have visited our club and we have been really grateful for their time and support. Anyone wishing to join us on the mat will always be warmly welcomed.
